Visadorm Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: March 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued for services booked through the Visadorm platform.
By purchasing services through Visadorm, users agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Visadorm is designed to provide a secure, transparent, and fair marketplace for travel and immigration services using blockchain-secured payments and escrow protection.
1. Payment Processing & Escrow Protection
All payments made through Visadorm are processed using USDC stablecoin and secured via on-chain escrow mechanisms.
Visadorm operates as a non-custodial platform, meaning:
-
Users retain control of their funds until service milestones are completed.
-
Funds are released to service providers only when contractual conditions are met.
Escrow milestones may include:
-
Submission of required documents by the buyer
-
Preparation of the visa or immigration application
-
Submission of the application to the appropriate authority (e.g., embassy or consulate)
This escrow structure protects both buyers and service providers and minimizes disputes.
2. Transaction & Escrow Security Fee
A 0.9% transaction and escrow security fee applies to all service payments on the platform.
This fee covers:
-
Blockchain transaction costs
-
Escrow infrastructure
-
Administrative processing
The fee is:
-
Clearly displayed before payment confirmation
-
Automatically deducted from refunded amounts when applicable
3. eVisa Service Refund Guarantee
Visadorm offers a 100% service fee refund guarantee for eVisa services under specific conditions.
This guarantee applies only to service fees charged by providers, not to government or embassy fees once they have been used.
4. Refund Scenarios
4.1 Cancellation Before Work Begins
A user may cancel an order before the service provider begins processing the application.
In this case:
-
100% of service fees are refunded
-
Minus the 0.9% transaction and escrow fee
Government or embassy fees are fully refundable if they have not yet been used.
4.2 After Work Has Begun
If the service provider has started processing the application and the buyer has submitted the required documents, the following rules apply.
Visa Denial
If the visa application is denied by the issuing authority, the user will receive:
-
100% refund of the service fee
-
Minus the 0.9% transaction and escrow fee
This forms part of the Visadorm Visa Guarantee.
Failure to Submit Required Documents
If the buyer fails to submit the necessary documentation within the required timeframe:
-
The service fee will be released to the merchant
-
The 0.9% platform fee remains with Visadorm
This rule ensures service providers are compensated for reserved time and administrative preparation.
5. Escrow Automation
Funds remain locked in escrow until one of the following occurs:
-
The visa decision is issued
-
The service milestone is completed
-
The document submission deadline expires
The platform may automatically release or refund funds based on the outcome recorded in the system.
This automated process significantly reduces disputes and processing delays.
6. Service-Specific Refund Policies
Some services available through Visadorm may follow provider-specific refund policies.
6.1 Accommodations
Hotels and apartment listings may have unique cancellation terms.
These conditions are displayed before booking confirmation.
Eligible refunds are processed within 24 hours after the escrow timelock period expires.
6.2 Tours and Activities
Cancellation windows depend on the service provider and are shown at the time of booking.
Refund eligibility is determined according to the provider’s stated policy.
6.3 Travel Insurance
Insurance policies may only be refundable if the coverage has not yet been activated.
Refund approval depends on the insurance provider’s policy terms.
6.4 Business Formation Services
Refunds may be issued if the service has not substantially progressed.
Government filing fees and administrative charges are non-refundable once submitted.
7. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a buyer and a service provider, refund processing may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed.
The dispute process may consider:
-
Service provider evidence
-
Platform booking terms
-
Document submission timelines
-
Relevant communication between parties
Where possible, the final decision is executed automatically through the escrow system.
8. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests must be submitted within the applicable cancellation window specified for the service.
Eligibility may depend on:
-
Service type
-
Provider terms
-
Whether work has begun
-
Fees already paid to third parties
9. Transparency & Refund Tracking
Users can track payment status directly within their Visadorm account.
Possible payment statuses include:
-
Pending in escrow
-
Released to service provider
-
Refund in progress
Users will receive automatic email and platform notifications for each status change.
10. Key Principles
Visadorm’s refund framework is designed around three core principles:
Traveler Protection
Users are protected from financial loss if a visa is denied despite proper application submission.
Merchant Protection
Service providers receive compensation when users fail to provide required documentation.
Blockchain Transparency
All payments are processed using secure on-chain escrow transactions.
11. Policy Updates
Visadorm may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect platform improvements or regulatory requirements.
Updated policies will be published on the platform with the revised effective date.
